Dear internet,
Sometimes I dislike you… Immensely. You’re a pretty hate machine. I understand that it is not your fault directly, but these feelings of mine are directed to the users. The vitriolic sardonicism and messages of hate they spread are disgusting. The ability to speak without fear should be a beautiful thing, not a tool to convey hate speech.
You were once a shield for me, a place where I could find myself, and begin understanding. I have all but lost that, and am sequestering myself into the refuges of understanding and brotherhood of man.
While I remain thankful for your solving many mysteries for me, helping me find my own spiritual path and learn my own nature, I can no longer say that you, dear internet, are my friend. We’ve lost that now.
Take your hate, your filth, your cancer and destroy it. No longer allow it to spread, tainting the world of humans, and free yourself from the disease we have brought upon you.
Good bye Internet,
Sincerely,
John
